To develop a simple, highly sensitive and selective method for detecting oxytetracycline (OTC) in biological fluids using a novel Ce-MOF@COF hybrid nanostructure as a label-free bioplatform for an electrochemical aptasensor.

The Ce-MOF@COF hybrid nanostructure demonstrated excellent stability, dispersion ability in aqueous solution, electrochemical activity, and bio-affinity toward aptamer strands. The Ce-MOF@MCA500-based aptasensor exhibited high sensitivity, selectivity, stability, and reproducibility, with an ultra-low limit of detection for OTC. This work provides new insights into porous organic frameworks-based aptasensors for detecting trace amounts of harmful small aminoglycosides and their applications in food safety and environmental monitoring.
