研究目的
To enhance the electron-hole separation and boost the practical performance of commercial titania (Degussa P25) under natural solar light for the simultaneous removal of Cr(VI) and bisphenol A (BPA).
研究成果
The covalent anchored Co(II) species in CoP25-4 promoted photogenerated electron-hole separation through efficient electron-trapping on Co(II) sites, significantly enhancing the photocatalytic performance for Cr(VI) reduction and BPA oxidation under natural light excitation.
研究不足
The study is limited to the modification of P25 with Co(II) species and its application in the photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) and oxidation of BPA under specific conditions. The performance under different environmental conditions and with other pollutants was not explored.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
P25 was modified with Co(II) species through post-treatment with decomposition of Co-EDTA precursors in a wet chemical anchoring process.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Commercial titania (Degussa P25) was used as purchased.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
TEM, XRD, XPS, FT-IR, UV-Vis absorption, PL spectra, ESR measurements, XAS analysis.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Photocatalytic activity evaluations were carried out in a home-made glass reactor with a 300 W Xe lamp and solar simulator.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The photocatalytic reaction rate constant (k) was obtained by fitting the time course curve using pseudo-first-order model.
