1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the synthesis of carbon dots/fatty acid-coated MNPs (CDs/C11-Fe3O4) through a facile and simple method to mitigate the limitations of MNPs such as dispersibility and agglomeration.

Batch adsorption experiments were conducted to study the effect of various parameters on BaP adsorption. The adsorption capacity and efficiency were calculated using specific equations.

The adsorption data were analyzed using pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir isotherm model to understand the adsorption mechanism.
