摘要: This paper presents a method of modeling and simulation of photovoltaic arrays. The main objective of this study is to achieve a circuit based simulation model of a photovoltaic cell and to scrutinize the results and compare them with respect to change in environmental parameters like irradiation and temperature. The proposed method of single diode model is implemented in MATLAB software based on the particular environmental condition. And on the basis of this study simulation results and ideal theoretical values are compared.

Sensor Malfunction Detection and Mitigation Strategy for a Multilevel Photovoltaic Converter
摘要: This paper presents the design of a state convergence (SC)-based bilateral controller for a nonlinear teleoperation system, which has been approximated by a Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model. The selection of SC is made due to the advantages offered by this scheme both in the modeling and control design stages. The modeling stage considers master/slave systems, which can be represented by the nth order differential equations, while the control design stage offers an easy way to determine the control gains required for assigning desired closed loop dynamics to teleoperation system. After the master/slave systems are represented by TS fuzzy models, a stabilizing fuzzy law is adopted which allows deploying the SC scheme with all its bene?ts to design the fuzzy bilateral controller. In this way, not only the simplicity of the design scheme is ensured but also the existing SC scheme is able to control a nonlinear teleoperation system based on its TS fuzzy model description. As an additional advantage, the SC-based existing linear bilateral controller can be easily derived from the SC-based proposed fuzzy bilateral controller. Various cases of master/slave systems originally reported in terms of their linear model representation and communication in the absence/presence of time delay are all discussed in the corresponding fuzzy framework. The MATLAB simulations, considering a one-degree-of-freedom teleoperation system, are performed to validate the proposed methodology for controlling a nonlinear teleoperation system.

Graphene as charge transport layers in lead free perovskite solar cell
摘要: Tin-based perovskite material is one of the promising candidates used in lead-free perovskite solar cells. In the present study, the use of graphene material as charge transport layers is suggested and the structure n-Graphene/CH3NH3SnI3/p-Graphene is simulated in AFORS-HET (Automat for Simulation of Heterostructures) software. The effect of layer properties on the performance of the proposed structure is analyzed. After optimizing the layer parameters, the best possible structure gives a Voc = 687.1 mV, Jsc = 19.93 mA cm?2, FF = 77.92% and efficiency = 10.67%. The textured nature of front surface enhances the efficiency of the cell from 10.67% to 13.28%. The effect of operating temperature is observed on the performance of the cell. The proposed structure is also modelled using one diode model in MATLAB software for comparison with AFORS-HET results. The results of the simulated and modelled structure are in good agreement with each other. To the best of our knowledge, the proposed structure and the corresponding results reported herein are new for the research community.

摘要: The Electroluminescence technique (ELIT) is used to characterize the spatial uniformity of the series resistance of a solar cell. When current is applied across the metal contacts, a solar cell operates analogously to LED. The image of the illuminated solar cell is captured via a Pentax K100D camera and sent wirelessly using a Wi-Fi SD card to a local computer. The captured image is displayed on the computer terminal, then the image is used for the qualitative evaluation of the series resistance is then obtained by the image processing tools in MATLAB for it to be displayed on the GUI. The primary advantages of the system are its low cost, automation, and simplicity. This EL system aims to measure within 5 percent accuracy of an I-V testing device at a fraction of the cost.

摘要: At present, renewable energy has many sources, most important of which are PV systems. It is therefore necessary to contribute to the diagnosis of the state of the photovoltaic system and the detection and diagnosis of malfunction. And identify and resolve failures in photovoltaic systems as quickly as possible, so that the system will operate at the expected levels of performance and reliability, thereby ensuring the expected return on investment. This article proposes modeling, detection and classification of photovoltaic system faults by Artificial neural network: ANN using measured values of the PV system voltage (v) and the current of the PV system (I). The method allows the classification of the PV state into several possible situations: normal operation and some different faults, modeling or simulations of MatLab. This method has proved to be able to detect and identify the faults in the PV array accurately and efficiently.

Computation and Communication Technologies || Implementation of Multilevel Z-Source Inverter using Solar Photovoltaic Energy system for Hybrid Electric Vehicles
摘要: This paper extends a topology for cascaded multilevel Z source inverter employs of z source inverter unit block with bidirectional switches. The conventional z source inverter consist network impedance with multiple indictors and capacitors arranged Z type topology performs either buck or boost the input voltage for non linear load depending upon duty ratio and modulation index in a multiple stage conversion with the help of impedance source passive network (L and C Z source inverter reduces harmonic distortion and overcomes limitations of conventional inverters. The proposed multilevel Z source inverter reduces harmonics further and provides a novel topology for power conversion. Capability of proposed configuration in producing all odd and even output voltage level source with input to the power source and increase the power efficiency is proved by simulation result for 3-level inverter. The output of the proposed system is simulated using MATLAB-SIMULINK and implemented in real simulation hardware for electric vehicles using dSPIC controller.

Observation of P-V And I-V Characteristics Before and After Partial Shadow Effect on Photovoltaic Array Using Boost Converter
摘要: The fundamental power generation unit for photovoltaic is solar PV module. The staging of PV array pivot on environmental conditions like operating temperature, solar heatstroke, array layout. PV line-up get partial shadow effect due to shadow of trees, poles, buildings…etc. Under such conditions the array gets more complicated and it will have spare than one alp. It is very dominant to forecast the attributes of PV array under partial shadow effect to procure maximal power. More distant hotspots, discrepancy losses will occur as well as these lead to certainty and constancy problems. It is still more extortionate and difficult to get control pivot of P-V and I-V under partial shadow effect. Sun Power SPR-305-WHT-U solar panel is taken as reference and the learning cornerstone on output power peak at different solar irradiation levels. 摘要: This paper deals with the design, simulation and construction of a switching mode power supply. The power supply is especially intended for one photovoltaic panel with 24 V output voltage and 250 W peak power. The supply is based on a flyback topology with nontraditional passive non-dissipative snubber circuit. The entire converter was simulated in the MATLAB Simulink. The converter is fully digital controlled by a STM32F334 microcontroller with a cascade control loop. The selected topology, fundamental simulation of the converter, snubber circuit and strategy of control and constructed converter are included in this paper. The converter can be used with another same converter for creating a small off grid photovoltaic system.

摘要: This paper presents the implementation of Embedded Switched Z Source Inverter (ES-ZSI) using photovoltaic interface. Lesser passive elements are required in ES-ZSI with reference to the conventional Z-source inverter. Buck boost operation can be simulated in ES-ZSI, and it is interfaced with PV module. The shorting of the inverter leg is resolved adding to the high output voltage gain of the inverter. Various modes of operation are evaluated and their results are simulated using MatLab. Eventually, simulation study of the complete system is presented for both buck and boost state in ES-ZSI and their results are validated experimentally.
