摘要: The metallization of silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cells by selective Cu electroplating without any resist-mask is in development. A thin multi-functional PVD Cu-Al stack is deposited to mask the ITO and to promote homogeneous current distribution for simultaneous bifacial plating. This investigation reviews different approaches to perform the Al-patterning – by printing of a metallic ink, laser metal transfer or selective metal etching – to produce a metal-seed susceptible to plate selectively against the self-passivated Al surface. This NOBLE – native oxide barrier layer for selective electroplated, metallization allows reaching a first promising efficiency of 20.0% on a full area SHJ solar cell with low contact resistivity to ITO. This simultaneous bifacial metallization features several advantages: low temperature processing, high metal conductivity of plated copper, no organic masking and low material costs (almost Ag-free).

Epitaxial Growth of Highly Transparent Metal–Porphyrin Framework Thin Films for Efficient Bifacial Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
摘要: Bifacial Dye-Sensitized Solar cells (DSSCs) are regarded as promising solar energy conversion devices with high efficiency and less resource consumption. In this work, a highly transparent and efficient counter electrode (CE) is fabricated by introducing highly-dispersed single Pt atoms doping into van der Waals layer-by-layer (lbl) epitaxial growth of Zn-TCPP thin film (Zn-TCPP-Pt). The resulted Zn-TCPP-Pt CE has similar catalytic activity to commercial Pt CE, but show a better light transmission capacity in the range of visible light. The bifacial DSSC with Zn-TCPP-Pt thin film CE achieves high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.48% and 4.88% under front-side and rear-side irradiations, respectively. With maximized atomic efficiency, excellent performance was obtained with about 1% Pt content and highly-transparent CEs. Therefore, the light energy resource utilization rate of such less Pt and transparence CE is greatly improved in bifacial dye-sensitized solar cells, making it a promising candidate to replace Pt CE.

摘要: Renewable energy is one of the nature base sources of energy which is called clean energy. Solar energy is one of the nature base energy among renewable energy which is utilized by the photovoltaic effect. Bangladesh has huge opportunity to utilize solar energy to meet the future energy demand as well as help to reduce the environmentally harmful material which actually produced by fuel base power plant. However, to utilize solar base power plant require vast amount of land area which is not possible for overpopulated country like Bangladesh. Bangladesh has 3790.861km national highway, 4206.121km regional highway as well as 13121.757 km district road. In addition, open space of the roads is available .By converting these roads into solar highway by vertically installed bifacial solar module will be open new door for power generation in the Bangladesh. The whole research work of implementing solar highway will give a detail idea like the concept of vertical installation of bifacial solar panel, solar panel efficiency etc. The power generation based on these thoughts are optimized by theoretical and simulation data analysis. So it is vital time to utilize bifacial PV based solar highway with latter concept.

Comparison of Bifacial Solar Irradiance Model Predictions With Field Validation
摘要: Models predicting rear irradiance for bifacial systems are critical to establish accurate estimates of energy yield. Here, we compare five published bifacial irradiance models, varying clearance, row spacing, tilt, and albedo to measure the sensitivity to these parameters. Bifacial energy gains (BGE) as high as 20% are predicted for some configurations. Model agreement is generally good for low ground clearance (clearance heights lower than 0.75 times the collector width), but at higher clearances, finite system size and edge effects become a significant factor in simulations, stretching assumptions of infinite system extent made in some models. In addition, rear irradiance uniformity is improved at high ground clearance, as expected. A test-bed construction and results are described for comparison between modeled and measured data in Golden, CO, USA. The investigations indicate that model agreement for BGE calculation is better than 2% (absolute) when compared with measured results, depending on the system configuration.
