CuS nanoparticles can serve as an effective, low-cost HTM in PSCs, achieving high current densities and fill factors. However, the Voc is limited by interface recombination and CuS's metallic nature. Future improvements could involve interface passivation to enhance performance.

The open-circuit voltage (Voc) is limited to around 0.8 V due to increased non-radiative recombination at the perovskite/CuS interface and the metallic character of CuS. The efficiency is also limited by these factors.
