研究目的
Investigating the selective ratiometric ?uorescent sensing of enzymatic activity of the alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in biological samples using a novel bioanalytical approach.
研究成果
The developed nanoprobe using BSA-CdS QDs and PLP as a monophosphate substrate provides a rapid, selective, and sensitive method for detecting ALP activity in biological samples, with potential applications in disease diagnosis and biomedical research.
研究不足
The study focuses on the detection of ALP activity in controlled laboratory conditions and may require further validation in more complex biological environments.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The probe was designed by conjugating pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP) over the surface of bovine serum albumin (BSA) stabilized CdS quantum dots (QDs).
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Biological samples such as human serum and plasma were used.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Instruments included a Cary Eclipse ?uorescent spectrophotometer, Varian Cary 50 spectrophotometer, TEM, and FT-IR spectrometer. Materials included BSA, ALP, PLP, and CdS QDs.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The interaction between PLP and BSA-CdS QDs was examined by ?uorescence method. The detection of ALP activity was performed by adding ALP to the PLP conjugated BSA-CdS QDs solution.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Fluorescence spectra were recorded and analyzed to detect ALP activity.
