1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The synthesis of Ph-g-CNQDs was carried out using the solvothermal technique with oleic acid as solvent.

Water samples collected from different sources such as river, sea and drinking water were spiked with analyte metal ions.

Citric acid, Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, Urea, metal acetates and nitrates, oleic acid, hexane.

The mixture was heated in furnace for 15 min under
5:15 K during which it changes to dark brown color. The brown colored product was washed five times with hexane and the final product was kept in vacuum desiccator to get final dried product. Data Analysis Methods:
4 The quenching experiments for both the analytes were carried out at different temperatures and using Stern-Volmer equation, graphs were plotted between (F0-F)/F and concentration of the target analyte.
