The successful synthesis of GO using modified Hummer’s method and its coupling with SrS was confirmed through XRD and Raman studies. Thermoluminescence studies revealed the formation of trapping centers in both pure GO and the coupled product, with changes in the pattern due to the presence of SrS. This work provides a foundation for the development of novel optical materials.
