研究目的
Investigating the photoluminescent properties of (Sm0.95 Ce0.05)2O3 nanoparticles for potential applications in white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) and solid state lightings.
研究成果
The synthesized (Sm0.95 Ce0.05)2O3 nanoparticles exhibit good luminescent characteristics and are promising for applications in white LEDs and solid state lightings due to their spherical morphology and strong orange-red emission.
研究不足
The study focuses on the synthesis and basic characterization of (Sm0.95 Ce0.05)2O3 nanoparticles. Further studies on the efficiency and practical application in devices are needed.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The combustion method was used for the synthesis of (Sm
2:95 Ce05)2O3 nanocrystalline powders. Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Nitrates of Cerium and Samarium, and urea were used as starting materials.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Bruker AXS D 8 Advance X-ray diffractometer, SEM (VEGA 3 TESCAN, USA), TEM (JOEL JEM-2100), Varian Cary 5000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Jobin Yvon FloroMax-3 spectroflourometer.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The solution was heated on a hot plate until spontaneous combustion occurred, followed by calcination at 900?C for 3 hours.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
XRD for structural characterization, SEM and TEM for morphology, UV-Vis for optical properties, and PL for photoluminescence studies.
