To design a new multiband frequency reconfigurable substrate integrated waveguide cavity slot antenna for addressing the specific design challenges posed by the internet of things (IoT) based cognitive radio networks.
研究成果
The proposed antenna demonstrated decent performance with a compact design (38 mm × 36 mm). The higher efficiency recorded is 90%. The gain and average bandwidth obtained are 8.2 dBi and 65 MHz, respectively. The radiation performance is numerically and experimentally investigated. Very good agreements between the simulated and measured S-parameters and radiation patterns are observed.

The study is limited to the design and testing of a frequency reconfigurable antenna for IoT applications. The performance of the antenna in real-world IoT scenarios is not evaluated.
