1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved laser surface alloying (LSA) of sintered austenitic stainless steel type 316L with Inconel 625 powder using a 4 kW fiber laser. The process parameters were optimized to ensure complete melting and dissolution of the alloying powder into the surface.

The substrate material was uniaxially pressed and vacuum sintered austenitic stainless steel. Inconel 625 powder of specific grain size was used for alloying.
