1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The laser cavity includes a 7 m long EDF pumped by a 980 nm LD through a WDM, a PC to rotate the light SOP, a PM-FBG to provide two reflection wavelengths with orthogonal SOPs, and a CFBG to form a linear laser cavity. The output is monitored by an OSA.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The PM-FBG and CFBG are used as filters. The PM-FBG was fabricated using a uniform phase mask.
