The study demonstrated that 1.5 wt% CR-Al2O3 composite particles heat-treated at 800°C with alumina size of 0.8 μm exhibited optimal laser sintering properties due to better CR distribution and coverage on alumina surface, improving laser absorption and heat transfer.

The study is limited to the use of CellNF as a carbon source and its conversion to CR at specific temperatures. The mechanism behind the formation of dome-like CR structures at higher temperatures is not fully understood.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study used electrostatic adsorption (EA) method in aqueous suspension to fabricate CellNF and Al2O3 composite powder. Heat-treatment at 500 and 800°C was compared for the conversion of CellNF to carbon residue (CR).
