研究目的
The goal of this chapter is to give a comprehensive model that can describe the optoelectronic properties of graphene in a broad frequency range, from the zero frequency for the electronic properties discussed in Chapter 2 to the optical frequencies for the optical properties discussed in Chapter 3. Furthermore, the momentum dispersion due to spatially nonlocal response of graphene to optical excitation is considered in this chapter.
研究成果
The chapter provides a comprehensive model that describes the optoelectronic properties of graphene in a broad frequency range, considering both interband and intraband transitions. The model is extended to include the momentum dispersion due to spatially nonlocal response of graphene to optical excitation. The findings emphasize the interpretability and forward-looking nature of the research, suggesting further studies to explore nonlinear responses and out-of-phase responses of electrons.
研究不足
The technical and application constraints of the experiments include the assumption of a sufficiently small external field for linear response, the ignoring of electron-electron interaction, and the consideration of only the in-phase response of electrons to the external perturbation. Potential areas for optimization include the consideration of nonlinear responses and out-of-phase responses of electrons.
