研究目的
Investigating the enhancement of light extraction efficiency of quantum dots (QD) LEDs with Bi-functional TiO2/Al2O3 distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) nanolaminate structure and its application in color conversion and micro-display.
研究成果
The TiO2/Al2O3 DBR structures provide promising potentials to achieve good optical properties and high barrier performances, highlighting their application in color conversion and micro-display.
研究不足
The study focuses on the enhancement of light extraction efficiency and moisture barrier performance but may not address all potential degradation mechanisms of QDs under long-term operation.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the design and fabrication of TiO2/Al2O3 nanolaminates structures using atomic layer deposition (ALD) for enhanced light extraction efficiency and moisture barrier performance.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
CdSe/ZnS core-shell QDs powders were used, dispersed in toluene solvent and mixed in UV resin. Blue LEDs with a peak wavelength of 460 nm were used as the exciting light source.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
ALD method (Beneq TFS-200) was used for deposition. TFCalc software was used for simulation.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
QDs slurry was deposited onto blue LEDs using a blade coater, followed by annealing. DBR structures were then fabricated on the surface of QDs slurry using ALD.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Optical properties and moisture barrier performance of the DBR structures were analyzed.
