研究目的
Developing novel fluorescent turn-on probes for the instantaneous detection of histamine in food and beverages.
研究成果
The developed ZnO@PLP and ZnO@Py probes are highly selective and sensitive for histamine detection, with potential applications in food safety monitoring. The probes offer a simple, cost-effective method for histamine detection in aqueous medium.
研究不足
The study focuses on histamine detection and may not be directly applicable to other biogenic amines without further modification. The sensitivity and selectivity in complex food matrices were not extensively tested.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) capped ZnO quantum dots (QDs) were synthesized and decorated with vitamin B6 cofactors (PLP and Py) to develop fluorescent turn-on probes for histamine detection.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Histamine and other biogenic amines (BAs) were used as samples to test the selectivity and sensitivity of the probes.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
ZnO QDs, β-CD, PLP, Py, histamine, and other BAs were used. Fluorescence spectra were measured using a Cary Eclipse Fluorescent spectrophotometer.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The probes were prepared by mixing ZnO QDs with PLP/Py, and their fluorescence response to histamine and other BAs was recorded.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The fluorescence enhancement was analyzed to determine the linearity and detection limit for histamine.
