研究目的
Investigating the absorption constant values of 12C16O2 and 13C16O2 using the tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy method.
研究成果
The deviations of the absorption constants of the 12C16O2 curves do not exceed 15%, and for the 13C16O2 curves do not exceed 12%. The results are important for increasing the accuracy of measuring the contents of 12C16O2 and 13C16O2 in exhaled air.
研究不足
The main source of noise was the interference of laser radiation transmitted through the cuvette and reflected from its windows. The sensitivity threshold for H2O vapors was not reached.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) method was used with a tunable diode laser (TDL) as the radiation source.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
A mixture of 13C16O2 and 12C16O2 at a ratio of 1:140 was used.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Vertilas VCSEL Diodes TDL, multipass gas cuvette with an optical length of
4:5 m, P4638 photodetector based on the PbS-connection (Hamamatsu). Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Laser radiation modulated by a generator passed through the cuvette filled with the gas mixture at various pressures.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The absorption constants were determined using the Bouguer–Lambert–Beer law.
