研究目的
Investigating the fabrication and application of plasmonic biosensors for monitoring biomolecular interactions in real time.
研究成果
The developed optical sensor demonstrates potential for cost-efficient biosensor applications, with high sensitivity and reproducibility in monitoring biomolecular interactions.
研究不足
The study does not discuss the long-term stability of the sensors or their performance in complex biological matrices.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the fabrication of optical sensors through the reduction of gold ions using freshly etched hydride-terminated porous silicon. The sensors' ability to detect specific biomolecular interactions was studied using reflectance spectroscopy.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Silicon wafers and various chemicals were used as materials. The optical response of the sensors was monitored in real-time using a custom-made flow cell.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Silicon wafers, hydrofluoric acid, ethanol, toluene, glutardialdehyde, HEPES, cysteamine, Protein A, rabbit IgG, PBS buffer, bovine serum albumin, asialofetuin, acetic acid, Erythrina cristagalli lectin, hydrochloric acid.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The fabrication process involved electrochemical etching of silicon wafers, immersion in a gold salt solution, and functionalization with biomolecules. The optical response was monitored using reflectance spectroscopy.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The spectral position of the localized surface plasmon resonance was monitored to determine the bulk sensitivity and equilibrium dissociation constants.
