研究目的
To design a novel sensor array based on molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) for low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) determination.
研究成果
The novel sensor array can be applied to quantify the amount of individual LDL and HDL in 10 mM PBS. Each polymer layer contains cavities affine to lipoprotein, exhibiting linear response. The next steps will comprise fully evaluating sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor array using mixed-lipoproteins standard solution.
研究不足
The sensor array has cross-reactivity issues, with HDL-MIP presenting cross-reactivity to LDL at 9-19% compared to the LDL-MIP signal, and LDL-MIP also having cross-reactivity to HDL at 0-3% of LDL-MIP responses.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
A sensor array comprising LDL-MIP and HDL-MIP was designed to detect both classes of lipoprotein.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Standard LDL and HDL solutions were used.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Ten megahertz QCM with three gold electrodes, methacrylic acid (MAA), vinyl pyrrolidone (NVP), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA), acetic acid solution, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) solution, and deionized water (DW).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The sensor array was exposed to standard LDL and HDL solutions, and the frequency shifts were measured.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The frequency shifts were analyzed to determine the concentration-dependent sensor responses.
