研究目的
To review the recent advances in Brillouin optical correlation-domain reflectometry (BOCDR), discussing its advantages and disadvantages over other Brillouin-based distributed sensing techniques, and to present the fundamental principle and properties of BOCDR with some special schemes for enhancing the performance.
研究成果
Significant technical advances have been achieved to enhance the performance of BOCDR. However, there remain important issues to be tackled, including measurement accuracy, maximal sampling rate, and system portability. The paper concludes with future prospects for BOCDR technology.
研究不足
The measurement accuracy and maximal sampling rate are still unclarified points. The system portability and cost need improvement for field tests outside the laboratory. The dynamic range of slope-assisted BOCDR is currently limited by the BGS shape.
