研究目的
Investigating the effect of B2O3 content on the symmetry of Eu3+? surrounding in the system SrO?x.B2O3 synthesized by combustion method.
研究成果
The increase in electron-phonon coupling strength for PSB and ?2 intensity parameter suggested the existence of an incremental asymmetry in local environment around Eu3+ ions when B2O3 in a sample changed from 25 to 50 mol%. The incremental asymmetry is derived from the rising in numbers of B?O? non?bridging bonds with the adding B2O3 content.
研究不足
The study was limited to three samples with varying B2O3 content (x = 0.33, 0.5, 1). The last sample with x = 2 did not form an optimal phase under the preparing conditions of this study.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved synthesizing Eu3+ doped strontium-borate phosphors using the combustion method with varying B2O3 content. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra and phonon sideband (PSB) spectra were analyzed to investigate the change in Eu3+? surrounding.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Samples were prepared with SrO?x.B2O3 where x = 0.33, 0.5, 1, corresponding to different mol% of B2O
3:33, 5, 1, corresponding to different mol% of B2OList of Experimental Equipment and Materials:

3. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials: X-ray diffractometer D8-Advance (Bruker, Germany), Xplora plus (Horiba Jobin-Yvon), spectrophotometer (FL3-22, Horiba Jobin-Yvon).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The solution of ingredients was mixed, heated, and kept at 70 oC to obtain a gel, which was then dried and introduced into a furnace heated to 600 oC for combustion.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The Judd?Ofelt (JO) theory was applied to PL spectra to calculate the ?2 intensity parameter, and PSB spectra were analyzed to determine phonon energy and electron-phonon coupling strength.
