研究目的
Investigating the preparation, photoluminescence properties, and application of ultra-small amorphous carbon dots as TiO2 photosensitizers.
研究成果
The study successfully prepared ultra-small amorphous carbon dots with excellent photoluminescence properties and demonstrated their effectiveness as TiO2 photosensitizers for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue, achieving a high degradation efficiency of 96.6%.
研究不足
The study focuses on the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue under visible light irradiation, and the scalability of the synthesis method may need further investigation.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Hydrothermal-followed acid precipitation method was used to prepare s-CQDs.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) was used as the precursor.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
FT-IR, TEM, XPS, UV–Vis, XRD, SEM, EDS, and elemental analysis were used for characterization.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
MCC was hydrothermally treated, followed by acid precipitation to separate s-CQDs and l-CQDs.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The optical properties and photocatalytic activities were analyzed using UV–Vis spectroscopy and PL spectroscopy.
