1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employs a ratiometric fluorometric assay using a hybrid of blue-fluorescent silicon- and nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (CQDs) and red-emitting CdTe quantum dots (QDs) capped with N-acetyl-L-cysteine.

The N,Si-CQDs and NALC-CdTe QDs were synthesized and mixed to form a ratiometric fluorescent probe. The fluorescence intensity was measured at excitation and emission wavelengths of 350 nm and 441/608 nm, respectively.
