研究目的
The main objective of the present work is to investigate the spectroscopic properties of the Nd3+ and Nd3+/Eu3+ co-doped zincfluoro lithium based borate glasses. The JO intensity parameters and spectroscopic parameters are calculated for single Nd3+ ions doped glass. The emission spectra and lifetime analysis of the present co-doped glass samples were studied under 394 nm and 808 nm excitations. The energy transfer mechanisms are established between Nd3+ and Eu3+ ions.
研究成果
The different Eu3+ ion concentration in Nd co-doped zincfluro lithium based borate glasses were prepared by melt-quenching method. The JO intensity parameters trend (?2 > ?4 > ?6) suggested that the Eu3+ possess higher asymmetry with the surrounding ligand ions and denotes higher covalence nature of the present host. The stimulated emission cross-section is found to maximum 8.46 × 10-20 cm2 for 4F3/2 → 4I11/2 (1058 nm) transition in Nd05Eu00 of ZLFBiB glass. The energy transfer efficiency is increased with increasing Eu3+ ion concentration in Nd co-doped glasses and found maximum efficiency (η = 47.36 %) for Nd05Eu200 sample.
